The Janky Heist

In 2021, Superplastic launched a reverse auction NFT collection in collaboration with Christie’s Auction House, resulting in over 9,000 unique NFT artworks. The launch included a 60-second short film, used to tell the story of how the Janky Heist came to be. The NFT collection included an automated recombination algorithm, matching elements of Superplastic’s digital toys together to create one-of-a-kind CryptoJanky NFTs.

I oversaw the production of all creative and marketing assets used to launch the Janky Heist campaign. As lead producer on the 60-second animated short film, I managed timelines, feedback, approvals, and a team of CG artists to deliver the asset on-time and on-budget. I also oversaw the production of all NFT artwork, including over 22 unique 3D sculpts. I managed a team of illustrators, 3D sculptors, and lighting artists to execute the delivery of hundreds of assets under a tight timeline.
